Peter and Lisa

Doireann and Ian

Doireann went into the bridal store wanting lace and sleeves. and as you can see from the pictures, she came out with the total opposite! Ian wanted something that he would look back on in 20 years and still like. So a Black Tux was perfect for that!

Alison and David

Alison wore an ivory lace dress with a nude underlay. It was called Annika and was by Etoile Elysee. She bought it in The Bridal Outlet in Baldoyle. As soon as she put the dress on during the dress shopping, she knew. The tears flowed and she felt absolutely beautiful.  Even though Alison considers herself a very self conscious person when it comes to her looks, the dress made her feel incredible. She went with plain ivory shoes and a long veil.  David got his suit custom made in Louis Copeland and it was just gorgeous. He went for a slightly darker grey than the groomsmen but had the same tie.

Laura and Nicky

Laura wore a Sophia Tolli Zendaya dress bought from Cinderella’s closet. It was off the shoulder with a diamante belt attached. She also had an over skirt with buttons all down the back, and a diamante veil. Nicky wore a tux with a blue velvet jacket bought in Morley’s Cork.

Shayna and Ryan

Shayna got her dress at Bridal Showcase in Vista, California and she had to carefully (and strategically) fold it into her carry-on to bring it back to Dublin. She hadn’t planned to buy one there but had fallen in love with a gorgeous Watters Designs wedding gown. It had a tight bodice with boning built in for extra support, draped tulle sleeves and flowing ruffles that crisscrossed in a unique pattern down the bottom.

Ryan got his suit at his local CT2 Suits in Blanchardstown. He had a navy suit, with a beige waistcoat and funky blue tie. CT2 is a family business and Janice, the owner’s daughter, was an absolute pleasure to work with! They rented all the groomsmen’s suits from there too – in the same navy shade but with a matching navy waistcoat.

Catherine and Damien

Catherine wore a fit and flare dress from Pearls and Lace in Donegal.

“I can’t praise the team there enough—they made the experience truly special. The dress featured capped sleeves and lace cutouts on the sides. Kathleen Gallwey added pearls along the neckline and down the back, with clusters of pearls on the sides.

Damien wore a tux from Simply Suits. He was extra handsome!

Hair and makeup was done by Niamh Lee & Aine McMahon – both were absolutely incredible and they made the girls and I feel amazing.”
