TakeNplace is a great idea for weddings. I love taking photos but at my wedding I knew I wouldn't have the oppertunity to take photos. It was great to see the photos from our guests. I put the QR code on each table, in our favour boxes and on our welcome sign. I chose the digital option as I wanted to create my own design. I think it's somthing people have not seen before but our guests thought it was a great idea.

The 52nd Street Band – Absolutely Incredible!
We had the pleasure of having The 52nd Street Band play at our wedding, and honestly, they were sensational from start to finish. John was amazing – so professional, talented, and fun – and the full 5-piece band, complete with sax, brought an energy that kept the dance floor alive all night. There wasn’t a single moment when anyone wasn’t dancing or smiling.
A special highlight for me was when they surprised me by playing Fairytale of New York in August – I love Christmas, and it was completely unexpected and absolutely brilliant. The performance gave me goosebumps and perfectly captured the joy and magic of our day.
If you want a wedding band that will bring unmatched energy, talent, and fun to your celebration, The 52nd Street Band is hands down the best. They made our day unforgettable, and we can’t thank them enough!

I had so many questions about how the qr system worked for the day of, the responsiveness was so fast it put me instantly at ease purchasing for the online package. It was so straight forward to use and we had a great slideshow to play on our day 2. Everyone was delighted to look back on the photos (that they didn’t remember taking🤣). The fact we have access to all the photos for another few weeks too is ideal because we have a lot going on so we don’t have to worry about them for another while. Would definitely recommend.

I hadn’t heard of Valda’s service prior to our wedding as my wife was basically on top of all of the services but I’m delighted that I can say that I brought takeNplace to our wedding so I get all the credit!!!
What a laugh it was - the platform was so easy to set up on the day and it’s so intuitive and above all else - fun! All our guests had such a laugh trying to hunt down all the photos on the list and gamifying the wedding photos process was absolutely top class. Even people who hadn’t a clue how to use a phone were able to get stuck in and get involved. The personalised cards were such a great touch and I’ve been blabbing to anyone that will listen to sign up for takeNplace as it was pound for pound one of the best elements of the day. Valda was amazing to deal with and if this marriage doesn’t work out I’ll certainly have takeNplace at my next wedding!!! (Don’t tell my wife I said that) 😉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We used this for our wedding and it worked so well! It meant the we got to see so many little moments that we would have missed, but that our guests caught on their phones. The instant slide show is great, we left it running after dinner and people kept adding to it. The fact that this is an Irish business is a lovely plus and the commincation is excellent! Thank you!

We used takeNplace for our wedding on the 8th of August and we are delighted that we did. Valda was a pleasure to deal with and sent us plenty of printed QR codes for our big day. We placed these around the drinks reception and bars, placed one on each of the tables for the meal and even used them again at our day 2. The design was perfect and all of our guests found the QR codes very easy to use. It was amazing to see all of our guests photos projected onto a screen at our venue during the night and this was an added surprise for our guests also. It is now that we are fully appreciating the benefits of having these QR codes at our wedding as it is fantastic to be able to easily look back on all of the photos captured by our guests and see the wedding from their view while we await the photos and videos from our photographer and videographer.

We were kindly gifted this service by a cousin of ours for our wedding day in Killarney this summer. All of our guests had a fabulous time taking pictures over the weekend and uploading them to our portal. They especially loved the photo checklists. The QR codes were beautifully presented, alongside a gorgeous memory box and USB key. Valda provided excellent communication and instructions on the lead up to our big day and after. We are so thankful to have memories to last a lifetime and have thoroughly enjoyed looking at each picture which tells our story of our wedding day. I would 100% recommend! Thanks again Valda xx

The parcel with all of the cards etc. arrived well in advance of the special day and Valda had thought of everything.
The guests really enjoyed the "I Spy" cards and uploaded some great photos for the Bride and Groom to enjoy.

We used Takenplace for our wedding in July and couldn’t have been happier with the experience! It was incredible to see our day through the eyes of our guests, capturing moments we might have missed. It was a great way to get engagement from all the guests and everyone thought it added to the day.

This was a great alternative to having a guest book or selfie mirror! Our guests loved it and it was so different to what is usually seen at weddings. We had the slidesbow playing during the meal and again at our Day 2. It was so lovely seeing the day through our guest's eyes and everyone was loving seeing their photo pop up on the screen while enjoying their meal.

This services took a look of work off my plate, I really wanted as many photos of my guests as possible and with an easy upload, I got loads of responses. You are dependent on people uploading but it does make the process as easy as possible for them.

I gifted TakeNplace weddings to the bride and groom. What a fantastic, personal gift. The QR code was printed on the wedding menus and it was so simple to upload photos. The best part .... we all got to enjoy the slideshow of photos on day 2 of the wedding and the link stayed live, so people kept adding to the album and these photos were instantly shared to the slideshow. I organised the the iSPY game and photo sharing for my cousins wedding in west cork last weekend. It was a great hit and people were going around checking off the pictures they had to take from the iSpy cards. This was great fun and a brilliant way to capture all those candid moments at a wedding that the bride and groom wouldn't see through the day. Highly recommend. Absolutely brilliant idea and got all the tables involved with a small bit of competition too. The best bit is we woke up to loads of photos of our day from so many different perspectives! Really got people chatting around the tables aswell! Highly recommend!

In the build up to the wedding and with all the excitement and madness, you get worried about services you booked and how they would be on the day! We were one of the first to use takeNplace app and it was fantastic product and service. Any questions or issues I had were dealt with promptly and customer service was exceptional. It was so easy to use for everyone and it was lovely getting the guests involved uploading pictures and the hotel kindly provided a laptop and screen slide on day showing the pictures during the meal.

takeNplace is a must have for a wedding. We just loved it. Our guests especially enjoyed the interaction of the sideshow where they shared their pictures of our day with us all on the big screen. It was very entertaining and also a nice reflection of our beautiful day. We collected 100s of extra unseen pictures that we never would have had if it wasn't for takeNPlace. I couldn't recommend this service enough.
