I couldn't recommend Fionn from Studio 33 enough. He was so professional and friendly, brought a great atmosphere to the day. He had previously carried out two of my friends weddings so knew the quality and standard of his work would be great. He really knew his stuff and gave great suggestions on locations to take photos for the day and had back up plans for bad weather. We met up with him a few weeks before the wedding and he created a storyboard of the day for us and we were so comfortable and excited by all his ideas. He brings an assistant with him so great to have the two photographers to ensure everything is captured.

WOW.......... The pictures are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are AMAZING!!!! Can?t wait for John to
see them!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had such a great day/night ....Everyone seemed to really really enjoy it! They were all up
dancing from the first song!!
In work at the moment so trying to sneak a look without getting in trouble!!!!!!!!!! I genuinely
could not be any happier with the pictures..... you did a seriously fantastic job Fionn J I just
want to keep looking at them!!!!!! Theres so much to look at in each one ? if that makes
sense!!
A monstrous thanks to you and your assistant for capturing all of the images..... we will never
forget the day and I'm so happy that we have such fabulous pictures to keep forever!!!!!

Sorry for the long delay - we're only just getting back to reality! We both wanted to say firstly a
big thanks so much to you and Barbara for all of your work and professionalism, and fun! on
the day. You really made things so easy for us and we both genuinely appreciated your good
humor and patience as it really added to our experience and to the day itself. Our mates also
thought you guys were great - so thanks again to both of you!
On the slideshow, thanks also for the quick turnaround. We love it and the pics are awesome!
James is still taking about them!

"When we sat down to work out our wedding budget, we decided to list the most important factors for our wedding and the photographer was one of them. We wanted pictures that told the story of the entire day, that captured the atmosphere and feeling of our wedding along with our individual personalities. Fionn gave us all of this and more. "As soon as we met, we felt like we knew him always; he got the dynamic of our relationship straight away. For the entire wedding day, he put us at our ease; capturing great photographs without being intrusive or formal. It would be hard to praise Fionn enough for the work he did on our wedding. We organised the ceremony from abroad so it was very important to us to be able to put the photography in the hands of someone we could trust. Fionn made the whole thing simple, from agreeing to meet us at those awkward times when we were able to get back to Dublin, to scouting sites for potential portraits and forwarding images so that we were able to dream up the landscape of the wedding from a distance. What I like most about his style is that the photos are both arty and quirky, but never lose any of the emotion. And he was just a great person to be around on the day. I think our ease with him shows in the photos too.

When we started planning our wedding we knew we wanted something a little left of
centre. With this ?little left of centre? plan was a vision of photographs that captured the
atmosphere of the day, our guests enjoying themselves, the little details and above all else
nothing that was formal or would fit into the traditional wedding photo category. Ed and I
were both sure that we didn?t want staged family and/or wedding party photos which
looked formal and stuffy. Our initial plan for our photography was to get a friend with a
good eye to take the photos but a good friend convinced us otherwise (thankfully!).
I stumbled across Fionn?s work on a wedding blog and I loved his style instantly. It was
atmospheric, informal, fun and quirky! It looked like he could tick all our wedding
photography boxes! Fionn and I met and started chatting and without hesitation I booked
him for our wedding. The photography was one of our biggest spends on the day but
undoubtedly the most worthwhile and in retrospect the best value for money. Everyone
that has seen our photographs have been beyond complimentary with comments of ?it?s
like something from a magazine?, ?wow?, ?amazing photographer?, ?where did you find him?
etc. Fionn understood exactly what we wanted from the beginning and on the day, along
with his assistant, worked so very hard. Without a doubt he was the most professional of all
our wedding suppliers from start to finish. The result of his talent and professionalism is
some of the most beautiful photos of our friends and family and some pretty good ones of
us! Thank you Fionn, we?ll treasure the photos forever! Anne & Ed.

?We decided that we wanted something different for our wedding photos so we choose
three photographers to see. All were very good however Fionn was different. We both felt
that Fionn was on another level with his creativity, telling a story through the lens,
capturing a moment with feeling and atmosphere which gave us much more than just
photographs of our day. Fionn created special memories that take us right back to our
fabulous wedding day. Another bonus is he?s a personable lad so we felt we had a friend,
good friend who had great fun with us and made our day special.
Comments from our guests on the day included ? Fionn is everywhere without being
intrusive? ? Natural charm, you feel at ease with Fionn and the lens? ?I bet he?ll sleep
tonight!?
Then we received the photos! What can we say other than they were fabulous. Fionn
created a high expectation and that is what he gave us.
We would highly recommend Fionn to all our family and friends and anyone looking for the
best wedding photographer.

We knew that organizing an Irish wedding from overseas would have some difficulties & had assumed that selecting a photographer would be hard but thankfully we were wrong. Looking through a selection of photographers online, Fionn?s photos had an artistic edge a lot of the others didn?t; we knew straight away he was the photographer for us!
Fionns? tips before the wedding were very useful. Knowing we weren?t familiar with the Ballsbridge area of Dublin, he had taken the time to look around for suitable locations. We were able to choose where we wanted to have our photos from his trial photos, saving us time on the big day.
On the day Fionn and his assistant Barbara did an amazing job. In additional to the more traditional shots, Fionn had unique ideas for different photos, from a spot of lawn bowls with the local bowls club, to enjoying a 99 cone from an icecream van and cheering on an impromptu game of footy in the park. Fionn captured it all, and we had a great time with him. Our photos are exactly what we wanted - unique, creative and fun, a perfect record of our special day. A friend who has seen the pics is even hoping Fionn might fancy a trip to Oz to capture their wedding!

We met Fionn at his studio last winter and he showed us a range of photos from different weddings he had photographed. We got a great feel for the style of photos Fionn takes and how he captures the moments of the day. Fionn not only captures the ?real? moments of the day in the typical photo journalistic way but his photos also have an amazing artistic quality that we loved. We knew Fionn would capture the feelings and ?moments? and story of the day, but we also knew that Fionn would deliver beautiful images that would be amazing in an album or hanging on a wall.
One of my areas of concern, and a talking point when we were meeting photographers, was getting nice group photographs that didn?t look too formal or if casual didn?t look too contrived. Fionn has a fantastic knack of putting a group together in a simple way for their shot and then having a bit of fun so that he ends up taking an amazing photo without you even knowing ? in that way he captures people?s real personality. The group photos Fionn took are some of my favourites.
Finally, Fionn is a really nice guy. You ending up spending a lot of your day with your photographer and we had a lot of fun with Fionn. It was like we had one of our friends doing the photography.There was no pressure or drama and we actually enjoyed having all of our photos taken. Fionn had come down the evening before and having taken some shots of the cathedral and grounds met with us briefly so he got a feel for what we liked in terms of locations. He had a plan for the next day and so there was no time wasted in taking the photos. Dromoland also provided us with golf buggy's to scoot around the grounds for taking the photos and that was great fun.

Like many people, I am uncomfortable having my photo taken and my expression often looks more pained than happy! The whole build up to our wedding was very relaxed and stress free and that is what we wanted our photos to reflect. The last thing we wanted on the big day itself was being rounded up for endless staged photos that didn't capture any of the fun that we were actually having. Luckily for us, that is the essence of studio33weddings. We met with Fionn to have chat about what we were looking for in advance and were very much at ease with him and knew he understood exactly what we wanted from the start.
We were so relaxed with Fionn around on the day of the wedding itself that everyone presumed he was a friend of ours as he just slotted in so well. He spent most of the morning in the bridal suite amongst 8 women and we barely noticed he was there! Fionn (and his assistant Barbara) captured the day perfectly for us- all the laughs and the precious little moments without being remotely intrusive. The quality of the photos speak for themselves and they are matched by a truly lovely person behind the lens. Hard to ask for more than that."
